praise jeebus!! today we got out of school early for snow and weather reasons. i guess im just gonna go to work and read "flash Cs3 for dummys" cover to cover. maybe ill be able to do some cool things after i read it.

Today I finally figured out how to use the wiki. I learned to upload videos from viddler and how to put them on my teams wiki page. I also learned how to put a picture on my team's wiki page. it took a while but now i am good to go with the wiki. :D

i messed around with flash and the wiki. i had to re-record our teams paper prototyping video because the sound quality on the first was bad. I tried to figure out how to upload the video to the wiki... but couldn't.(any one who can, please let me know how too). i hate the wiki. it is too unorganized. i cant wait until the game starts rolling.

today we finished our drawings for our first presentation. we used paper prototyping to show the basic ideas of the game. the other teams had more complicated games but over all i believe ours with come out on top.

Today I got a Mac OS Leopard. It is the greatest thing I have ever seen. The quality of the picture is amazing and it is very fast compared to my old computer. I am trying to figure out how to install photoshop cS4 without having to pay $999.99. If anyone knows a crack for that, please let me know as soon as possible. I need to start designing the characters for our game.

Today I looked at some other people's wiki pages and blogs. Some were good and some were terrible. A couple of the kid's pages looked very professional and organized. The others were very unorganized and trashy. I think I need some help with the wiki page because I still don't even know how to upload files that well. I guess I need to step up my game and start blogging more. My team and I can't wait to get started on our game. The game is about the negative affects of drugs on teens. But anyway, I am going to work on some designs for our game over Thanksgiving break(gobble gobble)(that was a turkey) on Photoshop Cs4. Goodbye for now.

Today i filled out the Wiki page about choosing a topic. Warfield assigned a topic so im not sure if we have to use it or not. we wrote a bunch of topics on the white board and he just picked one that he liked i guess. recycling is good.lol

today i edited my blog profile. it was nice having help if i needed it. thanks mr. allder's class.i learned how to add a playlist and pictures. i was taught how to post comments. (like i didn't already know). my blog is coming along nicely.

i just played a game called shop till you drop. it seems like who ever made this game didn't really put much time into it. it was just a bunch of stupid pictures about prom stuff that you had to buy. you only had 600$ to spend. it gives you 2 choices of things to buy, an expensive one and a cheap one. now you tell me... which one are you gonna pick? you cant spend more than 600$ or you will be late for prom.there was no challenge at all. now the only reason i played this one is because i didn't want to play only the games with topics that i like because i need a wide variety of things to pick from when i make my own game. there will be no more blogs on games for a while. im all gamed out.

well i played another game. completely different from the first one i played. the game was called "the haunted house" i believe. this game told a story at the beginning about you being dared to go into a haunted school and try to make it out alive. to make it out, you must answer many common sense questions. my thoughts on the game were not very good. the game had poor graphics and was very unorganized and random. the questions that it asked were to easy and very annoying. i almost didn't want to even finish the game. i hope the game that i design will be better than this.

today i played a game called "September 12th". it is a shooter game that you cannot win or lose. you can use this game to explore some aspects of war on terror. when i first played the game i just shot everyone and everything. after a while i realized that i had missed the point of the game completely. i noticed that when you killed a civilian, other civilians would gather around the body, mourn for a moment, then they would turn into terrorists. so after that realization, i began to shoot only when there were no civilians around. over all i enjoyed playing the game.:D

my name is jack m. i am 15 years old and a sophomore at Greenbrier East. i have big ole' holes in my ear lobes.:D photoshop is something that i do almost every night. although im not the best, i know the basics. i also like to skateboard. ive been skating for almost three years now. i like really heavy metal music and and technical hardcore. pretty much anything with a breakdown and two-step or really fast technical riffs with deep outward vocals. i hope to become and architect.
